As a mobile notary, I offer convenient and efficient notary services to my clients. Here’s a brief overview of how I work:
First, you can contact me to schedule an appointment. I am flexible and can work around your schedule. We’ll discuss the documents you need to have notarized and determine a time and place to meet.
Next, we’ll meet at a location that’s convenient for you, whether that’s your home, office, or another public location. I will bring all necessary notary supplies with me, including my notary stamp and journal.
Once we meet, I’ll verify your identity and ensure that the documents are complete and ready to be notarized. We’ll then proceed with the notarization, and I’ll affix my notary seal to the document as required.
After the notarization is complete, I will provide you with a copy of the notarized document, and I’ll also keep a record of the notarization in my journal.

- Personal Identifications Accepted
- What to Do without Identification
In Texas, there are several forms of identification that are accepted for notarization purposes. These include:
- Texas driver’s license issued by the Department of Public Safety (DPS)
- Texas personal identification card issued by DPS
- Texas concealed handgun license issued by DPS
- U.S. military identification card
- U.S. passport
- U.S. permanent resident card (also known as a “green card”)
It’s important to note that the identification presented must be current or have expired within the last 4 years. Additionally, the identification must include a photograph, signature, and physical description of you.
In Texas, if you don’t have a government-issued ID, you can still get your documents notarized by using one or more alternative forms of identification. Here are some options you can explore:
- Two credible witnesses: You can have two people who have known you for at least six months to vouch for your identity by signing an affidavit in the presence of the notary public. The witnesses must also present valid government-issued ID.
- Personal knowledge: If the notary public knows you personally and can identify you, they can notarize your documents without any additional identification.
- Subscribing witness: You can have a subscribing witness who is personally known to the notary public to identify you and sign the document in your presence.
- Other forms of identification: Some notaries may accept other forms of identification, such as a utility bill, bank statement, or passport from a foreign country.
It’s always best to check with the notary public beforehand to determine what forms of identification they will accept.
